The glass appears to be of high quality, but the coating is minimal at best. It does not have a greenish or bluish stain, which is typical for coated filter. I have the UV is used on a Nikon lens. a good sign - now I've noticed almost no difference with or without filters. Polarizer seems to do what they should be as well to do - darkening the sky and reduce reflections. Given that price is very cheap, I would for those of you who recommend looking for some inexpensive starter filter. 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Although the number of exposures of the filters have different covers, they seem very illuminating, including UV filters - it looks like a glass, no coating, much more reflective than my Hoya UV (0) anyways The kit comes with a box for storage of filters, with a red substance inside leaving small red brush on the glass. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful.
